The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) is the founder of Islam.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) is the Most Beloved Prophet of God. He was sent with the perfect teachings of Islam found in the Holy Qur'an. His Prophethood was Divinely Appointed by God Almighty to unite all people, and all religions, together - as Muslims have been taught, through the teachings of Islam, that all Prophets ordained by God, throughout all of time, were of the Truthful, Divinely sent by Allah the Almighty for their specific region of the world, at their rightful time.
Therefore, Muslims believe in the Torah and the Gospel [3:4] and now, the Holy Qur'an, as the Final Law created to remove all corruption, falsehood, misunderstanding, and alteration of Original Scripture that had developed over time, and to unite all of mankind together in peace and solidarity.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) is known in Islam as the “Seal of the Prophets,” signifying the completion and perfection of Divine Law through his Prophethood . Through his blessed example and the preservation of the Holy Qur’an, the Word of God has remained safeguarded throughout time.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) is the most beloved to us Muslims, and words cannot properly express our true love and devotion for him. For God, Himself, has said that He would not have created the universe if He were not to create the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) . This shows God's deep love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa), and the importance in his creation for the salvation of all mankind, making the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) the Greatest Benefactor of Mankind.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
.إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
"O Allah! Send Your Mercy on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your Mercy on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for You are the Most Praise-worthy, the Most Glorious.
O Allah! Send Your Blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent your Blessings on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for You are the Most Praise-worthy, the Most Glorious.’ “
This prayer is known as Darud Sharif. To recite this prayer is an essential part of the Islamic faith.
