Peace through submission to Allah

Islam means peace.

Islam means peace through submission to Allah.

Allah is the Arabic word for the One God. God is all that is good. Submission to God means submission to all that is good. Islam means peace through submission to all that is good.

It is through complete submission to Allah that the highest evolution of the soul be able to take place, and a person is able to become an embodiment of peace. Through sacrifice, and adopting and submitting to all the prescribed teachings of Islam, a Muslim is, insha'Allah, able to adopt higher levels of virtues like that of truthfulness, true justice, humility, bravery, kindness, forgiveness, and compassion—to name only a few attributes that, alhamdulillah, lead the soul to prosperity.

Muslims believe it is through complete and total submission to Allah—complete and total submission to all that is good—that true peace can be established on earth.

Thus, Islam is the name of the religion lead by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) to unite mankind in peace and submission to our Creator.
